Indications:It is useful for the symptomatic relief of upper respiratory condition associated with dry unproductive cough and in the presence of mucus in the respiratory tract.Its long action and afficient stimulation of respiratory tract fluid make it a valuable help in removing the cause of the cough instead of merely suppressing it.Guaifenesin finds its greatest usefulness in relief of dry cough associated with the common cold,pertussis,measles and influenza.
Dosage:Adult and children above 12 years old:2 teaspoonfuls,3 to 4 times daily.Children 7-12 years old:1 teaspoonful,3 times daily.Children 2-6 years old:1/2teaspoonful,3 times daily.
